A Parametric Supercar Body System — Fast, Clean, Symmetric
Hypercar SubD Cage Master is a Grasshopper-driven body generation system designed for real sports car proportions, not abstract blobs. It produces a clean, editable SubD-ready body cage with correct left/right symmetry, a distinct front and rear, and high-LOD wheels aligned exactly as they should be.
Built for rapid iteration and serious design exploration, every aspect of the form is controlled through a single external configuration file—making changes instant, reproducible, and sharable.
What it does
- Generates a clean SubD-compatible body cage with predictable topology
- Maintains true left/right symmetry only (front and rear remain unique, like real cars)
- Outputs high-detail wheels with correct XZ orientation and realistic proportions
- Supports real supercar features: wheel arch cutouts, side intake openings, and diffuser tunnel shaping
- Provides guide curves for roof, beltline, rocker, hood, haunch, splitter, and diffuser control
- Keeps all parameters externalized in a simple CFG for fast iteration and versioning
